Theodore Boutrous Jr., the lead lawyer for POLITICO, CNN, and MS NOW, the three barred outlets, alerted US District Judge Timothy Kelly Thursday morning that reporters from each company had been turned away despite his temporary restraining order early Thursday. That order mandated that the administration restore the organizations' access for at least two weeks while further litigation plays out. He asked for Kelly to hold an "immediate hearing" on the administration's "non-compliance" with Kelly's ruling. The judge ordered the Trump administration to respond to the allegation by 12:30 p.m. Eastern time. The White House weighed in just before the deadline, telling the court that it had restored access for all three outlets' reporters as of 9:55 a.m. CNN and MS NOW also reported that their reporters have begun gaining access to White House grounds.
